State farm-level research <br /> <br />There will be developed for each state an agricultural <br /> <br /> <br />simulation model for that part of its area overlying <br /> <br />the Ogallala and peripheral aquifers. These models <br /> <br />are operated to project a time profile for: <br /> <br />(a) land cultivated, idled, fallowed, and in <br /> <br />rotation pasutre with cultivated land <br />broken down by crop and by irrigated and <br /> <br />dryland farming; <br /> <br />(b) agricultural output, by type (crop and livestock), <br /> <br />and by irrigated and dryland farming; <br /> <br />(c) gross and net value of agricultural output <br /> <br />("net" defined as "net" to the agricultural <br /> <br />L <br /> <br />sector and "net" over variable production costs); <br /> <br />~ <br />
