The mound stopped at approximately 900 <br />feet from center which reflects the perpendicular distance to the Platte River. <br />The groundwater profile for a vertical plane of 54 degrees resulted in a wider <br />overall influence of the recharge water in both directions from the center of the <br />basin. Additionally, the groundwater levels at a distance of 300 feet from the <br />center of the basin showed an increase of 1 foot. For an initial depth-ta-water of <br />2.4 feet in the vicinity of the recharge basin, an increase of one foot would raise <br />the groundwater level within the desired 1 to 1.5 feet of the ground surface. The <br />groundwater profile for a vertical plane of 90 degrees showed similar results to <br />the 54 degree profile and is illustrated in Figure 7c. <br /> <br />t9 <br />
