Computer programs to
provide radar-estimated precipitation patterns from Z-R relation-
ships have been written.

Analyses of radar and rawinsonde data will also help develop proce-
dures for evaluating possible downwind effects. Two reports com-
pleted in connection with the downwind study are an extensive litera-
ture survey and a historical review of all weather modification
activities in North Dakota.

Other UNO activities include (1) coordination of pilot training
programs at UNO's Department of Aviation, (2) participation in the
design of work plans and instrumentation at HIPLEX planning meetings,
and (3) guidance in analysis and evaluation efforts of State cloud
seeding projects.

CONTRACTOR: Convergence Systems, Inc., Fort Collins, Colorado
CONTRACT NO. 14-06-0-7583
PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATOR: R.
