<br />IJUO~38 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Geographic Information Systems <br />· Implemented the Plat Mapping System for the State Land Board <br />December, 1994; <br />· Received comments from the Attorney Generals Office on the <br />statewide Memorandum of Understanding with BLM; <br />· Received approval from the IMC, OSPB and the JBC to fund the GIS <br />Coordinator position effective July 1, 1995; and <br />· Received a written workplan for the GIS Coordinator as the result of <br />an Executive Enhancement Program sponsored by the Bureau of Land <br />Management July, 1995. <br /> <br />Wang Migration <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Began the Stabilization Phase of the project which included releasing <br />and evaluating a bid for the hardware and operating system software <br />February, 1995; <br />Migrated the Division of Water Resources Water Well database to a <br />Unix server running Informix two months ahead of schedule-April, <br />1995; <br />Converted the Hardware and Software Inventory programs running on <br />the VS300 to an Informix database accessible by multiple divisions, <br />April, 1995; <br />Wrote the software conversion specifications for the remaining <br />production applications that support the Oil and Gas Conservation <br />Commission and the State Land Board, May, 1995; and <br />Conducted a pilot conversion of the Parks application software and <br />data files to the test environment June, 1995. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Technical/Administrative Support <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Developed and tested a new disaster recovery process for the Parks <br />applications running on the Wang VS300 December, 1994; <br />Connected the Parks Southern Regional Office in Colorado Springs to <br />the DNR LAN using Wild Net March, 1995; <br />Acquired a communications protocol router to be used on the Local <br />, Area Network as a temporary measure to give the department the <br />ability to connect to the Colorado Integrated Network (CIN) for <br />Internet access, May, 1995; <br />The Parks' internal computer Committee transferred 26 standard forms <br />to computer media for the automation of reports and to further the <br />adherence to standards May, 1995; and <br />Parks upgraded 90% of the modems used for access to the <br />Campground Reservation System June, 1995. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />43 <br />
