An example of this type of diversion occurs at the Burlington
headgate where water is divened that was released from Duck Lake.
Releases from reservoirs into the river should not be recorded in this
column but in lhe Flow columns described earlier.

Total Diversions

The total of,1/ the Direct Diversion and Storage Diversion col-
umns (in cfs) is calculated by the SPWRMS application, and entered
in the Total Diversions columns. Note thai these do not accept direct
user input.

Srorn~e

Entries are made in the storage columns to reflect the storage in on-
stream reservoirs. Actual diversions into storage should be recorded
in the Diversion columns. Storage values are recorded in units of
acre-feet.

Change in Storage

This is the change in the volume of storage from the previous day.
This figllfC can be derived by subtracting the previous day's Water
Information Sheet Total Storage value from coday's Total Storage
value. This column will usually match (with modification to aCCOUnt
for the difference in units) wilh the diversion amount recorded for the

7/31/94

26
