, ... \ ~l")
O~J~0;."

5.0 The Edit Menu

An example of an exchange is the out-of-priority diversion of water
into Standley Lake from Clear Creek in exchange for releases from
Thornton's West Gravel Lakes into the South Platte.

When imponant for daily administration, records of out-of-priority
diversions in accordance with an augmentation plan should also be
kept in this column.

To edit exchanges, double click in the Exchange column of a diver-
sion structure. As with the Priority Diversions dialog, you can enter
exchanges for multiple structures and then click OK when you have
finished.

Editinl!: Exchanl!:es

An exchange has six components: a From structure, a To structure,
an Admin#, a Direct/Storage type, an Amount (in cfs), and a Com-
ment field

The exchange dialog works very much like the Priority Diversions
dialog. For a discussion of the Add to List, Clear from List and
Clear All functions, see the above discussion.

When editing exchanges, the only constraints are that the Admin#
field contain a valid floating point number, and that there be some-
thing in the From field. Note that for the To structure you can only
select from those structures on the current WlS dialog.

To view a list of From structures, you must be connected to the
SPWRMS server. As you change the From District list to select the
district of interest, a list of structures in that district will appear in the
From field to the left.

When you have entered a From structure, administration number,
and comment, and selected a To structure, press Add to List to add
the exchange to the Water Information Sheett

Transmountain Diversions

These are diversions of upstream releases of lransbasin water. An
example of a Transmountain diversion is Denver's diversion of water
from the Robens Tunnel at Conduit 26.

Entries are not made here for the diversion of transmountain water
which has been subsequently stored and later released. Such diver-
sions should be recorded in the storage delivery column. For exam-
ple, diversion of water previously stored in Caner Lake would be
accounted for as a storage delivery even though the original source
for the water was trans basin.

25

7/31/94
