The Chief shall request funds from the <br />Secretary of Agriculture for emergency watershed stabili- <br />zation work. <br /> <br />2528.04b - Director, Cooperative Forestry Staff. The <br />Director, cooperative Forestry Staff, Wash~ngton Office, <br />shall: <br /> <br />1. Coordinate Forest Service participation in <br />Emergency Flood Prevention (EFP) programs with the Soil <br />Conservation Service. <br /> <br />2. Review and approve Regional requests for emergency <br />flood prevention funds under section 403 of the Agricul- <br />tural Credit Act of 1978. <br /> <br />2528.04c - Director, Watershed and Air Management Staff. <br />The Director, Watershed and Air Management Staff, Washlng- <br />ton Office, shall: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />1. Ensure that emergency flood prevention needs on <br />National Forest system lands are properly identified, and <br />funds requested are properly used. <br /> <br />2. Coordinate National Forest System activities with <br />the Director, Cooperative Forestry Staff, washington Office. <br /> <br />2528.04d - Regional Foresters. Regional Foresters shall <br />review and approve project plans and request emergency <br />funds for rehabilitation following major fires, floods, Dr <br />other disasters. <br /> <br />2528.04e - Forest Supervisors.
