<br />The local enhancement portion, $68,600, of the Head Lake Management
<br />Area cost would be subject to the cost-sharing provIsions of the
<br />Federal Water Project Recreation Act (79 Stat. 213).
<br />
<br />Annual fish and wildlife benefits attributable to the Rio Grande
<br />Channelization, San Luis Valley Project, with inclusion of the pro-
<br />posals as outlined in this report, would amount to $1,500 for fish
<br />and $13,050 for wildlife, for a total annual benefit of $14,550.
<br />
<br />The Bureau of Sport Fisheries and Wildlife and the Colorado Oivi-
<br />sion of Game, Fish and Parks should be kept advised of changes in
<br />project plans so that the effects of the project can be restudied
<br />and, if necessary, a new fish and wildlife report prepared.
