_ r :'j ""t""\..
~\)\lv

Although TV A and CADSWES will be responsible for major model development efforts, the
guidance of consultants will be required to address specific elements of the PRSYM model
and analysis tools, including the link to power system economics, the water quality module,
and multi-objective evaluation and tradeoff analysis.

It is required that TV A, the Subcontractor, and consultants work closely together on the
development and implementation of the modeling system. Consultant's work will be
integrated into the detailed project design plans developed by TV A and CADSWES. TV A
personnel must be trained on the technical aspects and application of PRSYM. It is expected
that TV A staff and consultants will spend time at the Subcontractor's facility during the
model development phase and that the Subcontractor will assist in the on-line implementation
at TV A facilities. The Subcontractor will also assist in the implementation of the DSS and
modeling systems at a second utility (under a separate contract).

S-5
