UV';U:l<J

. ~ ;

Operations Guide

Module Processing

2.2.6 H450 Reoorts: The Report Generator module will process the reports .requested
in the INPR file into either a 132 column format to the REPT file or a Commas and Quotes file
(RPRN).

To run H450, you will need the following files:
INPR (* .m) Report request file.
ODS (*.ODS) ODS output file (from H400)

The following input file is optional.
UFIL (*.UF) Units file.

H450 will produce the following files:
REPT (*.REP) Report file.
RPRN (*.PRN) Commas and Quotes file (produced only if requested).
MSG (*.MSG) Message File. The message file will be appended to
any previous message file.

To run H450 using specified input files, use the following command:
H450 I=/NPR O=ODS R=REPT U=UFIL

[The Unitt file (UFIL) il optionaL]

If you declare a U=jilename (or P=ProjectName) the program will check to see ifjilename
(or ProjectName.UF) exists, if it does exist, the module will attempt to load the unit options in that
file.
The filenames of the input (except for UFIL) and output file MUST be specified. Either use
the following format or the ProjectName option described in paragraph 2.2.8 [Page 12J. The options
may appear in any order. Each the filenames may be up to 63 characters in length, however DOS
will not accept all the characters should a full (63 characters) path be specified for each filename.

2.2.7 Overlav Modules: When your network and data exceeds the memory capacity
of your PC, use the overlay versions of H400, H430, and lor H450.
These modules run exactly the same as their affiliate modules, with the exception that they do
not load all of the program at any given time. The module will need to accesses the disk constantly
to load the parts of the module that it needs. The process takes 2 to 10 times as long to run a model,
and perhaps more depending on how your system is configured.

The overlay modules are as follows.
H400v '51 H400
H430v '51 H430
H450v '51 H450
2.2.8 Using the ProiectName Ootion: Each of the following modules require that
certain files be specified. This can be easily accomplished by using the ProjectName Option. This
option will automatically set all filenames to the pathljilename specified by P= on the command line,
and each module will append the proper extensions (described in Paragraph 2.1 [Page 8]) to the
pathlfilename that you specify. See the section on batch files (paragraph 2.3 [Page 13]) to see how
this feature is best used.

program P=ProjectName

Page 12

HYDROSS 4.1

March 25, 1991
