Develop DM1s for Inflows (July 10 - September I; revised to July 15 - November 4)

. The work for the virgin flow (inflows) DMI is underway. The USBR procedures for
development of virgin flowS have been reviewed and RTI has prepared draft design
documents for internal review. It is estimated that this subtask is about 20% complete.

9. Develop DMIs to Access Water Rights Database (July 17 - August 7; revised to August 15 -
Ocrober 21)

. This work will be combined with the work of Subtask 7 as a single DMI that will access
water rights data, aggregated as required, and incorporated into the "demand" DM!. The
initial work related ro methods for aggregation of water rights has been completed, and the
first draft of an aggregation DMI has becn given to the Stare. It is estimated that this subtask
is about 40% complete.

10. Determine Return Flows Using Glover (July 17 - August 28; revised to August 8 - October 7)

. Wheeler has performed a nUinber of hypothetical srudies to estimate the expected range of
return flows. The State has been requested to provide specific irrigated areas for 20 to 25
key water right structures in the Gunnison River basin to assist in the analysis of return flow
patterns. This work item is approximately 50% complete.

11. Develop DMIs to Estimate Net Reservoir Evaporation (July I I - August 25; revised to July 11 -
October 9)

. The design document for this DM1 is complete. Final coding of the utility remains. This
subtask is about 70% complete.

v

12.
