Flow Data GUI In this subtask. lhe Flow Data GUI (similar to figure 10.1.1) will
be developed as a Dynamic dialog. Data Type, Record Period, and Diversion
Coding through the combo control options. The next method would be to double
click on the desired Structure Name on the map object and then fiU in the remaining
Data Type, Record Period, and Diversion Coding fields. The final option would be to
select a predefined Template from the Template combo control to fiU in the selected
list. The user will have the ability to revise the default View format and Time Step
before pressing the Get Data button to query the database. The following are the
descriptions of the elements of the GUI:
Selected list box: The Selected list box displays a list of the selected structures,
satellite or diversion.
Selected combo control: Displays list of key diversion and satellite structures.
Data Type combo conlro!: Displays all the potential data types for the
selected structure.
Period combo control: Displays all the potential years of record for the
selected structure data type. An additional option would allow all the years of
record to be requested by selecting' "', or . Note: Task 10.6, Default and Error Hanaling,
will develop procedures for handling data request such as requesting daily values
for streamflow data when the infonnation in the database is hourly.

c:\w\crdss\scope\ph III b\scope .doc

0708

4'14'97 - 26
