9.2. Default and Error lIandling. In this subtask, default data other than that assigned
from the preferences will be determined for each GUI developed in this Task. In
addition. error routines will be developed as static dialogs which insure the
application notifies the user of a problem and has a graceful exit. The types of
problems anticipated might include requesting streamflow data that does not exist.
lbis work will be performed in coordination with the State and documented in a 3-4
page section of the developers documentation.

9.3. Develop On.line Help Develop on-line documentation. lbis documentation is
expected to be an on~Iine version of the User's Manual.

9.4. Final On-line Help Revise on-line help screens to include State Comments in a MS
Word and HTML format.

Deliverables:

1. Operational Options GUI(s) including Network settings. Time Interval. Water District
Filter, Map, File Locations. Run Time. and Database Sync.

2. Implement Default and Error handling routines and decwnent them in Developer's
Manual.

3. Develop On-line help that documents how to navigate the GUI(s) with examples.

4. Revise On-line help to include State comments.
