<br />Task 3 - FTP Sites <br /> <br />Responsibility: State <br /> <br />Objective: Develop an anonymous File Transfer (FTP) Site for non-relational database <br />information located on the Central Server. <br /> <br />Approach: <br /> <br />3.1. Download Site In this subtask, a download site (directory) will be developed and <br />populated to store non relational database information for GIS coverages, StateMod <br />model, StateMod data, CRDSS-CU model and CRDSS-CU data. Coordinate with <br />other state agencies currently providing some GIS information. <br /> <br />3.2. Web Page In this subtask, a web page will be developed that allows data stored in <br />the download site to be requested. Include a mechanism to report data updates to <br />subscribers. . This will be accomplish by including a question which, if answered by <br />the user, stamps their Email address to a group mailing list. <br /> <br />3.3. Documentation In this subtask, the Developers Documentation will be revised to <br />describe the download site and web page in a MS Word format. <br /> <br />Deliverables: <br /> <br />1. FTP download site <br /> <br />2. Web page and updating mechanism <br /> <br />3. Developer's Manual Documentation to include download site. <br /> <br />Task 4 - Recommend Software Tools <br /> <br />Responsibility: RTi <br /> <br />Objective: Select software tools to be used for the Water Rights Administration <br />Development. <br /> <br />Comment: It is recognized that the software tools recommended in task will be based on <br />the collective experience of the State, RTi, readily available documentation, and software <br />evaluation. Also software development is changing at a rapid pace. Therefore following <br />the completion of Task 10, Database Query and Presentation, the recommendations <br />developed herein will be reviewed and revised appropriately under subtask 4.3. <br /> <br />Approach: <br /> <br />4.1. Review, In this subtask, written materials provided by DWR related to future <br />software languages expected to be supported by DWR will be reviewed. Conduct a 4 <br />hour meeting in Denver with DWR personnel regarding the software languages and <br />tools expected to be supported by DWR and its relationship to the Water Rights <br />Administration Tool Development.
