Provide technical engineering assistance thru provision of qualified <br />departmental personnel to participate in a State Damage Survey Team; <br />the purpose of which will be to determine engineering scope of work <br />and related costs for each specific area of concern identified by <br />the local governments in Alamosa and Rio Grande Counties which they <br />feel constitute an imminent threat as defined by the state's <br />criteria and which deal with dikes, levees, river channel <br />conditions, and other flood control facilities. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />2. Identify those potential projects that qualify under the State's <br />criteria for emergency work as contained in the "Guidelines for the <br />Administration of the State Disaster Emergency Fund", and those that <br />might qualify for federal assistance. Make recommendation to local <br />governments concerning application for federal assistance. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />3. Provide a dollar estimate of the long term flood ,control costs <br />facing each of the counties. <br /> <br />Coordinating Instructions <br /> <br />~ <br />~ <br />L <br />r <br /> <br />1.
