Williamson <br />Council Vice-Chairman <br /> <br />November 1, 1978 <br /> <br />My first two reports on the High Plains-Ogallala Aquifer Study provided a <br /> <br />general summary of the purpose of the study, and the progress toward selecting <br /> <br />a general contractor to conduct the study. Since the last MRBC meeting a <br /> <br />general contractor has been selected. <br /> <br />GENERAL CONTRACTOR <br /> <br />Notification of the contract award by the general contractor was received <br /> <br />on September 22, 1978. The prime contractor for the study will be Camp Dresser. <br /> <br />and McKee, Inc. of Austin, Texas. Black and Veatch, Joint Venturer, and Arthur <br /> <br />D. Little, Inc., Subcontractor, are both associated with the general contractor <br /> <br />through the main. contract. Other subcontractors are William F. Guyton and <br /> <br />Associates, Engineering Enterprises, Inc., and S. A. Garza Engineers, Inc. <br /> <br />Key assignments are as follows: Harvey O. Banks, Project Director, and <br /> <br />Jean O. Williams, Project Manager. Mr. Banks will direct the formulation and <br /> <br />implementation of the plan of study, and any necessary subsequent revisions, <br /> <br />and will be involved in the technical aspects of the work. Mrs. Williams will <br /> <br />be responsible for the day-to-day technical activities of the study working <br /> <br />directly with the states and the <br /> <br />regional stud~ element managers. <br />~ <br /> <br />Davis, John M.
