Efforts to Attract New <br />Industry to Colorado or <br />Certain Parts Thereof <br /> <br />In addition to the State Division of Commerce and <br />Development, there are seven organizations in Colorado <br />promoting state-wide industrial development and at least <br />136 local or regional civic organizations Q; groups fos- <br />tering industrial development in Colorado.~ Perhaps in- <br />terest in industrial promotion stems from the so-called <br />"multiplier effect".
