<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />To date, the Colorado Water Conservation Board has informally <br />agreed to participate in the NEP A scoping process as a <br />"cooperating agency." However, the Board has not agreed to be <br />signatory to the "Task Directive." The proposed responsibilities in <br />the "Task Directive" must be reviewed and approved by the Board <br />and can/but cannot reasonably be undertaken by staff. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />'Task Directive" Signatories <br /> <br />) <br /> <br />Certain are BOR, NPS, BLM, USFWS, Western. <br /> <br />a. <br /> <br />b. <br /> <br />Colorado is uncommitted. <br /> <br />c. <br /> <br />Those identified who might want to be signatory to%.:;ask <br />Directive" include Colorado River Water Conservation <br />District, Upper Gunnison Water Conservancy District, and <br />Uncompahgre Valley Water Users Association. There may be <br />others not yet identified which could be added as NEP A <br />process goes forward. <br /> <br />III. Scoping Documents <br /> <br />A. Generalized Scoping Issues - Attached hereto, this list helps establish the <br />general framework of the "Scoping Report" and subsequently the EIS. <br /> <br />B. "Scoping Report" - The first draft will be prepared by BOR and NPS on <br />October 6,1992. Lorie West with BOR and John Welch and Chris Turk <br />with the NPS will be the primary author's.
