The Congress establish a liaison at the <br />local level between the Bureau of <br />Reclamation and the Bureau of Indian Affairs <br />to ensure that the implementation of the <br />Colorado River Floodway Protection Act is <br />consistent with the trust responsibility of <br />the united States to the five Indian tribes <br />whose lands are located within the Floodway. <br /> <br />c. The Congress provide specific appropriations <br />to carry out recommendations of the <br />Secretary of the Interior pursuant to <br />Section 11 of the Colorado River Floodway <br />protection Act, which requires the Secretary <br />to analyze the effects of the Act on the <br />economic development of the Indian tribes. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />IV-B <br />
