3. International Boundary and Water Commission,
United States and Mexico, Department of State

The Congress provide sufficient funding for
the United States Section of the Commission
to cooperatively study with Mexico needed
improvements and, in conjunction with the
Bureau of Reclamation, to provide long-term
maintenance of the Floodway between the
Northerly and Southerly International
Boundaries with Mexico.

4. United States Army Corps of Engineers

The Congress direct, and provide sufficient
funding for, the Corps of Engineers to
incorporate the Floodway and its provisions
into the Hoover Dam Flood Control
Regulations including consideration of
potential improvements in the coordination
of tributary flood control releases from
Alamo Dam on the Bill Williams River and
Painted Rock Dam on the Gila River in
support of the Colorado River Floodway
Protection Act.

5. United States Geological Survey, Department
of the Interior

The Congress direct, and provide sufficient
funding for, the Geological Survey, in
cooperation with the Bureau of Reclamation,
to assess the need for additional tributary
gaging stations for the purposes of flood
warning and verification of tributary flood
flows, and to install and operate gages that
are deemed necessary.

United States Coast Guard

The Congress direct, and provide sufficient
funding for, the Coast Guard to develop, in
conjunction with the Bureau of Reclamation,
the sheriff departments, tribal officials,
and other appropriate local entities,
procedures for determinations and
notifications of lower Colorado River
navigation restrictions when flood control
releases from Davis Dam and Parker Dam
exceed 28,000 cfs.
