-.

b. Apply the procedures in the consumptive uses and losses procedures manual to the
1985 through 1990 and 1991 through 1995 time periods.
c. ModifY/enhance the consumptive uses & losses procedures manual based on these
applications.
d. Prepare two reports (using graphical and tabular presentations prepared by the CU
model) summarizing the calculated west slope consumptive uses and losses for the
1985 through 1990 (1st report) and 1991 through 1995 (2"" report).
e. Perform comparisons of the analysis results with previous analysis:
i. Compare the 1985 through 1990 results with a previous Phase II CROSS
determination.
11. Ifavailablefrom the USBR, compare the 1990 through 1996 results with the
US Bureau of Reclamation estimates for 1990 through 1996
m. Present the comparisons, comments ab011t differences and why those
differences may exist, in a memo.
f. Prepare for and provide a training session on the use of the CU & Losses procedure
to state staff.
G. Prepare data sets and install on the State's FfP site similar to the

9 Contingency
a. A contingency account has been established at 10 percent of the estimated budget for
tasks 1 through 7. This contingency is to be used to perform additional analysis or
more detail than anticipated in this scope.

Note: The State will provide the source code for other CROSS interfaces (SMGUl, CWRAT) to
Leonard Rice Engineers to allow for consistency and efficiency in development of CU interface and
functionality. Add in programs to create spreadsheets or mapping objects will also be provided by
the State if the State desires them to be included in the Consumptive Use Model.

Deliverables'

As indicated in the above scope description.

Estimated Cost.

$ 135,000. An estimated budget breakdown by task is provided on the
following page. This budget breakdown is provided not to limit expenditures
on individual tasks but to provide an indication of expected time involved in
a task and as a budget tracking mechanism. An unexpended budget in one
task may be transferred for use in another task if mutually agreed upon in
writing between the State and LRCWE.

For Leonard Rice Engineers

For CROSS Management Team

Date

1547

5
