Taught basic and <br />advanced courses in water supply and waste disposal <br />to officer and enlisted classes. Particular emphasis <br />was placed on development, basic methods of transport, <br />and treatment of water and wastes in underdeveloped <br />areas. <br /> <br />1964 <br /> <br />Engineer -- Camp Dresser & McKee. In charge of a <br />comprehensive industrial waste survey for a large <br />pulp and paper mill in New Hampshire. Included super- <br />vision of sampling and analyses by mill technicians <br />and preparation of final report on pollution, by the <br />mill, of the Androscoggin River. <br /> <br />Acting Superintendent -- Salem-Beverly Water Treatment <br />Plant, Beverly, Mass. Responsible for operation of <br />a water filtration plant serving about 75,000 people. <br />In charge of plant chemist and operating crew of ten. <br />Responsible for type and degree of treatment and control <br />of water in a three-basin reservoir system, and for <br />maintenance of treatment, pumping, storage and trans- <br />mission facilities. <br /> <br />, 1 <br />m <br /> <br />1964 <br /> <br />J <br /> <br />1963 <br /> <br />Engineer -- Camp Dresser & McKee.
