Determination

of a future hatchery site has not been made although consideration

has been given to several possibilities. The aost of land with a

.

suitable and adequate water supply is highly variable, but it is

estimated that replacement-in-kind of the fish oultural station

would cost $255,000 and a total oost of the desirably enlarged
station would amount of $475.000.

Reservoir fishery
(f). Of

particular value in providing such access will be facilities for

launching boats on the reservoir. It is also possible that these

facilities for fisherman may serve a dual role by aiding also in

fish-management operations. Existing roads and trails that would

.

terminate in the reservoir should be retained and operated by looal

public agenoies suoh as the County or State or by nonprofit organizations.

Wildlife

Loss of big-game resources
71.
