G0107S

Structures with Modified Physical Capacity

. 06-14-95 Noticed that at LILY PARK PUMP NO 2, 440819, there was no
decree amount in the database, The comments for this structure read as
follows:

comment ALT PT FOR 36,67 CFS TO LILY PARK #1

Modified the ,ddr and .dds file so that the decreed amount of 36.67 CFS is
prorated between Lilly Park #1 and Lilly Park #2 based upon their irrigated
acreage. Lilly Park #1 is 30.00 CFS and Lilly Park #2 is 6.67 CFS.

. 06-15-95 Noticed that the evaporation calculations in the base flow module
seem to be inconsistent with the evaporation calculations in the simulation
module. Notified Ray Bennett who responded that he will make
modifications to the code.

. 06-15-95 Turned off the operational rights for the carrier ditches between
Coal Creek and Moody Creek Ditch and Trout Creek(Rich Ditch) and Oak
Creek (Alpha Ditch), These are now modeled as a transbasin diversion with
0% efficiency and 100% returns in the same time step,

. 06-15-95 Revisited the proration factor on Trout Creek (Rich Ditch),
Noticed that the structures on Trout Creek were still getting shorted,
therefore after some trial and error the proration factor was determined to be
0.065.

. 06-15-95 Took a closer look at the Little Snake, Noticed the Wyoming
structures, Cheyenne (990528) and irrigation (990533), were getting shorted
during August and September during some years, Adjusted the proration
factors into the Wyoming demands such that they get the following:

65% of 09253000
70% of 09255000
95% of the local gain produced between 09260000, 09258000, 09253000, and
09255000

There are still some shortages in August and September which are produced
because this is a losing reach and some base flows are set to zero.

. 06-19-95 Turned off the 4 Counties storage right in Stagecoach reservoir.
Talked to George who said, historically this right was not administered, it
was only made absolute this past year, 1994, Therefore, for the calibration
Stagecoach should be able to get all its water from its existing storage rights,
excluding the 4 Counties right.
