OOl07S

change was made based upon the Upper Yampa District historic fill records.

. 06-08-95 Changed the proration factors for the following base flow points:
1, Milk Creek above 440692
2, Trout Creek above 574629
To adjust for periods of negative base flow, developed proration factors using
ratios to downstream gages. For 440692, the ratio of the Milk Creek gage
over-the-gage.atMaybelL(O.O 15)_was.used.and.foL5JA629,_the.ratio_ofEish
Creek at Milner over the gage Yampa at Hayden (0,015) was used for Trout
Creek,

. 06-08-95 Changed the end-of-month contents for Lake Catamount for the
period March of 1978 through March of 1980. The end-of-month contents
found in the database are too large by a factor of 10 for this period,

. 06-09-95 Noticed low historic end-of-month contents (3 ACFf) for
Elkhead reservoir for the entire year 1982, George contacted division 6
engineers (Kent Holt) for clarification of numbers, Kent said these values are
wrong and should be replaced with 13,699 ACFf,

. 06-09-95 Changed the historic end-of-month contents for those months
when Lester Creek reservoir was full to match the physical capacity of 5675
ACFf.

. 06-09-95 Changed the historic end-of-month contents for those months
when Yamcolo reservoir was full to 9096 ACFf. This number matches the
physical capacity as provided by both the division 6 engineer and the Upper
Yampa District

. 06-09-95 Changed the historic end-of-month contents for those months
when Allen Basin reservoir was full to match the physical capacity of 2250
ACFf,

. 06-10-95 Updated the historic target file to reflect changes made to the
historic end-of-month file,

. 06-10-95 Checked the baseflow computation in the Bear River above USGS
station 09237500, I checked a single month, July 1989 and the results are as
follows:

total historic diversions(from ,ddh) = 8502
change in storage(from ,eom) = -1210
flow at gage 09237500(from ,rih) = 1371
return flow estimate = 0.75*8502 = 6376
reservoir evaporation = 44

~
