<br />. <br /> <br />Task 3.08 <br /> <br />Determine Aggregated Irrigation Efficiencies <br /> <br />Objective: Estimate irrigation efficiency for the aggregated structures. <br /> <br />Prerequisite: The DMI demandts will be modified to calculate average efficiency for diversion <br />structures specified by the user. <br /> <br />Assumption: The acreage-weighted average of irrigation efficiencies for explicitly modeled <br />structures represents irrigation efficiency adequately for aggregated structures, <br /> <br />Approach: <br />I, Boyle: Execute the DMI demandts with Phase II data to calculate acreage weighted average <br />monthly irrigation efficiency for Phase II structures. This data will be used in Task 3.09 to estimate <br />the efficiency of aggregated irrigation structures, Visually compare Phase lIIa results to Phase II <br />results for explicitly modeled structures using the UNIX command gdifT. Report any concerns to <br />the STATE for resolution. <br />2. Boyle: Prepare a Task Memorandum 3.08 containing approximately I page summarizing the results <br />of this task. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Deliverables: <br />1. Boyle: Acreage weighted average monthly irrigated efficiency, Duplication of Phase II results, <br />2. Boyle: Task Memorandum 3,08 describing the results of this Task. <br /> <br />Task3.09 Generate New .ddm and .ddh Files <br /> <br />Objective: Prepare StateMod historical diversion C*ddh), historical demand C*H.ddm), and calculated <br />demand C*C.ddm) input files. The historical diversion C*,ddh) file will contain historical diversions for <br />Phase II structures and calculated demands for aggregated structures. The historical demand (*H.ddm) <br />and calculated demand file (*C.ddrn) files will be the same as Phase II but will include Phase IIIa <br />enhancements, <br /> <br />Prerequisite: Completion of Task 3.10. The DMI's necessary to execute this Task are fully functional. <br /> <br />Assumption: Historical diversion records for small irrigation structures are generally incomplete or <br />inadequate for modeling demand. For aggregated irrigation structures, demand at the head gate will be <br />calculated by estimating consumptive for each aggregated group and dividing by an average basin <br />efficiency. <br /> <br /> <br />Approach: <br />1. STATE: Prepare a structure file (* .str) that lists the County/HUC for each structure in the Yampa <br />River Basin. Develop default County I HUC location data for each water district.
