.

.

Deliverables:
I. Boyle: A spreadsheet file containing data and a single plot of four data series for cumulative
decreed vs. administrative date.
2. Boyle: Approximately ten classes of water rights for use in the water right aggregation.
3. Boyle: Draft memo describing the process and results for this Task.
4. Boyle: Meeting notes for the Division review regarding this Task and Task 3,03,
5. Boyle: Task Memorandum 3.05 describing the results of this Task,

Task 3.06

Develop return flow data set for aggregated nodes

Objective: Specify the modeled timing and location of return flows resulting from diversions by the
aggregated irrigation structures

Assumptions: Return flow timing will be specified as one of three patterns used in the Phase II model.
The pattern assigned to aggregated irrigation structures will be dominant return pattern used for
explicitly modeled irrigation structures in ~hase II.

Approach:
I. Boyle: For aggregated irrigation structures, use the default return flow locations (next downstream
node) resulting from the DMI watright to be executed in Task 3.07, Assign the delay pattern for
aggregated irrigation structures to the dominant return pattern used for explicitly modeled irrigation
structures in Phase II.
2. Boyle: Prepare Task Memorandum 3,06 containing approximately 1 page summarizing the results
of this Task.

Deliverables
1. Boyle: Delay pattern for aggregated irrigation structures.
2. Boyle: Task Memorandum 3.06, summarizing the results of this Task.

Task 3.07

Execute the DMI watri~ht to include A~gre~ated StructUl:es

Objective: Execute the DMI watright to include aggregated structures (irrigation, M&I, reservoirs
and stock ponds) developed in Phase IlIa, For each aggregated irrigation structure, calculate total or
representative values for these structure attributes: administration number, ditch capacity, and irrigated
acreage served,

Prerequisite: Completion of Tasks 3.04. In addition, the DMI watright will be enhanced to determine
parameters for the aggregated structures and rights. These parameters include combined ditch capacity
and flow-weighted administration number. Watright will generate a report listing the original
structures and water rights by aggregation grouping, and the total ditch capacity, weighted
administration number, and total irrigated acreage for each grouping.

Phase IlIa Scope of Services

1158

A-26

Jan31,1997
