Informix is the State standard, and is the chosen database ofDWR, CWCB and the <br />CRDSS project. Jean will perform the conversion using Informix's 4GL, and <br />embedded SQL language <br />. Data manipulation may be performed in dBASE prior to processing.~ <br />. UNIX level routines/scripts may be used to prepare the data for loading into <br />working/temporary tables <br />. MS Access will be used as an aid in documentation, and reports <br />. Top-down modular programming techniques will be used in 4GL <br />. The conversion application, and derived table application will be designed to run as <br />automatically as possible. Meaning that a "delete and re-build" option will be <br />provided to process the revised data <br />. Jean is responsible for her own Oxbow ONLINE development instance. Schema <br />changes require written approval from Leah Lewis <br />. The Water Rights tables will be built in a stand alone database.
