Serial 1447
in Section 10, Township 24, Range 58 was one of the units outside ~f the
boundaries of the District, and the 13Ud office took up the ~tter with
the District, 3Ud with the owner of the land, as to whether or not the
owner decided he wvuld care to be included in the District. This matter
was discussed by the Board of Directors;with the owner, and it wns finally,
decided by the owner of the land that it should not be classed as district
land.

The matter of liridting boating on Lake Minatare is the source of
considerable contention. Some of the people in the Valley feel thnt
boating on the lake disturbs the sea gullS, and drives them awny from
the projeet, when they should be encouraged to stay on the project in
order to help in tho eliridnation of the grass hoppers.

The Board of Direotors at one time appointed a cornmitteo who re-
ported ::>n this mo.tter, and recornm...nded tho,t boating be liridted to a
certain area of the lake, but this decision was not agreeable to every-
on.e and a committee WIlS finally r.ppointodj one member of which was to
represent the Pathfinder Irrigation District to consider this matter and
work out plans that would be more a6Teeable to everyone concerned.

The annual audit of the accounts of the Distriat is ru.~de each year
by Il. public 'lccountant, This audit is then examined by the Board, and '
t.hia Y"~" audit will be found in the published nlnutes of the District,

The Pathfinder Irrigation District is n llember of two organizations
whose objectives ore to promote the int~rest of Irrigation and secure
favorable legisLtion,

5
