The borrower is an agricultural <br />irrigation company serving 685 shareholders within a 30,000-acre service area. The project is needed <br />because North Poudre Reservoir #5 has an inadequate spillway, and because two company ditches are <br />eroding badly, threatening adjacent fannland and county roads. Smith Geotechnical Engineers has <br />completed the feasibility study and initial design. The project will consist of constructing an emergency <br />spillway and placing two open ditches with pipe. Construction is scheduled to start in March of 1998 and <br />be completed by October 1998.
