<br />. .o., I',. <br /> <br />,- <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT OR AGENCY NAME <br />Water Conservation Board <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT OR AGENCY NUMBER <br />PDA <br /> <br /> <br />COLORADO RIVER DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEM <br />CONSULTANT CONTRACT <br /> <br />THIS CONTRACT, made this 20th day of December, 2000, by and between the State of <br />Colorado for the use and benefit of the Department of NATURAL RESOURCES, <br />COLORADO WATER CONSERVATION BOARD, hereinafter referred to as the State, and <br />BOYLE ENGINEERING CORPORATION, 165 South Union Blvd, Suite 200, Lakewood, <br />Colorado 80228, hereinafter referred to as Engineer. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, authority exists in the Law and Funds have been budgeted, appropriated <br />and otherwise made available and a sufficient unencumbered balance thereof remains available <br />for payment in Fund Number 424, Organization YYYY , Appropriation CRC, Program <br />WTRC, Contract Encumbrance Number In the amount of $80,685.00; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, required approval, clearance and coordination have been accomplished from <br />and with appropriate agencies; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 37-60-115 (I)(a), Colorado Revised <br />Statutes, the State was authorized to make a continuous study of the present and potential uses <br />of the water resources of the State; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to provisions of 1995 Colo. Sess. Laws, Chapter 117, Section 3, <br />the State is authorized to continue the development of the CRDSS; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to provisions of 1995 Colo. Sess. Laws, Chapter 117, Section 3, <br />the State is authorized to expend not more than one million nine hundred and eighty thousand <br />eight hundred dollars ($1,980,800) from the Colorado Water Conservation Board construction <br />fund for such purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the selection of Engineer by the State was conducted in compliance with <br />Sections 24-30-1401 through 1408 of C.R.S., 1988 & 1991 Supp. CPart 14"), for negotiation <br />of consultation contracts; and <br /> <br />Page ~ of li <br />01/26/01 <br />
