<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />(c) The Secretary shall keep a record of all <br />proceedings of the Board of Directors and of <br />the Executive Committee, shall have custody of <br />the Seal of the District, and shall attest the <br />signatures of the Pr~sident or Vice-President <br />upon all instruments and other documents signed <br />by such officer. lie shall give notic~ of <br />regular and special meetings of the Board of <br />Directors and of th_ Executive Committee as <br />required by these BY~LaWS, or by the Colorado <br />River Water Conservation District Act. <br /> <br />Cd) In addition to the powers and duties herein <br />specifically given to and imposed upon the <br />Secretary, he shall do and perform any and all <br />acts required of him by the Board of Directors <br />or by the Executive Committee. <br /> <br />(e) The office of Se<:retary, by motion. or <br />resolution of the BOard of Directors, may be <br />combined with the podtion of Engineer of and <br />for the District; and if and when so combined, <br />said Secretary shallltave the title "Secretary- <br />Engineer. · <br /> <br />(f) If said offices be combined, the Secretary- <br />Engineer shall serve as an advisor to all <br />committees of the Board of Directors. <br /> <br />SECTION 4 - Treasurer. <br /> <br />The Treasurer shall be the custodian of the funds of the <br />District, to whatsoever purpose said funds shall be devoted. He <br />shall keep said funds in a bank or banks to be designated by the <br />Board of Directors by motion O%:, resolution. Before entering upon <br />the duties of his office, the Treasurer shall give a good and <br />sufficient surety bond in such sum as the Board shall, from time <br />to time, fix by lIotion or resolution, conditioned upon and for the <br />honest and faithful discharge of his duties, and the full and <br />complete accounting by him fo>: all funds and properties of the <br />District which shall come into his hands, which bond, and the <br />surety or sureties thereon, b~fore becoming effective, shall be <br />approved by the President and Secretary of the District. <br /> <br />ARTICLE VII - eXECUTIVE COMMITTEE <br /> <br />SECTION 1 - Necessity for. <br /> <br />In order more efficiently and economically to carry out and <br />effectuate the express powers of the District, set forth in C.R.S. <br />
