(Attach separate sheet. if <br />needed.): The project will consist of the addition of a laydovm pneumatic gate and a <br />conventional radial gate to be installed on the river diversion. The laydovm gate will help <br />by lowering the height of high river conditions, thereby reducing the pressure on the river <br />banks upstream from the diversion. The radial gate, in conjunction with the laydovm gate, <br />will help by passing sand downstream from the diversion more efficiently during high rive~. <br />rather than into the inlet canal. thereby reducing our annual inlet maintenance expense. <br /> <br />3 <br />
