The Board directed Mr. McClain to talk to the <br />homeowners about; an alternative, an excavated spillway, and to take <br />samples to determine whether this is a viable alternative. More <br />inforlllation and budget figures will be needed to present to <br />stockholders at the annual meetipq on February 5, 1994. <br /> <br />Jim Dickey from Left Hand Water Pistrict suggested that the Ditch <br />ColIlpany might approach the D1si:rict regarding the purchase of <br />storage by the District to help defray oosts to other shareholders <br />of the ::;piUway project. This would probably be preferable to <br />limiting storage, and would help maintain the value of Left Hand <br />Ditch, whicn might decrease as storage rights diminish. The Ditch <br />Boards reaction to this suggestion was qenerally negative, with <br />some seeing future problems with co-ownerShip. <br /> <br />SOPERINTKNDENT'S REPORT - JESSE 9-ARRISH <br /> <br />~) Jesse presented an estimate of $2,100.00 from Cushman to <br />replace the drop boards on the ~illiamson Ditch with a head~atQ. <br />There was a lengthy discussion of the design, needs, and <br />maintenance of the williamsol1. The Flonrd indicated an <br />unwillingness to spend the money this year, and directed Jesse to <br />clean out the area of conoern, a.nd ~ey will look at a h.ad'1a~e <br />next year. <br /> <br />2) Jesse toured the Left Hand Va:lley Outlet Ditch with Doug Lyle, <br />to qet an estimate of the cost of cleaninq it out. Jim MoKenzie of <br />Valley Excavating also took a look at the area, and will give a <br />bid. <br /> <br />3) AlIens Lake is down 2 feet, ~eft Hand Valley is down 2 fee~, <br />\ the Spurgeon is full. Jesse said he might pull Allens Lake down 4 <br />~feet, take 50 a.f. out of Left Hand Valley, so he can trnnsfer 1000 <br />~ a.f. to Boulder Reservoir in mid February. <br />\ <br />, ~.
