<br />.'1' <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />UTE WATER CONSERVANCY DIS1RICT <br /> <br />BOARD MEETING <br /> <br />#683 <br /> <br />APRIL 14, 1999 <br /> <br />Meeting number six hundred eighty-three of the Board of Directors of the Ute <br />Water Conservancy District and the Ute Water Activity Enterprise was called to order by <br />Chairman Wallace Downer at 7:30 p.m. at the Ute Water office on April 14, 1999. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Answering to roll call were James Burkhalter, Bruce Currier, Wallace Downer, <br />Robert Elsbeny, Dick Fletcher, Robert Gobbo, Harley Jackson, Ronald Jaynes, Robert <br />King, James Rooks, Robert Saunders, and Jacque Stafford. <br /> <br />Also in attendance were Lany Clever, Charlie Stockton, Rex Ricks, Tom <br />Crumpton, Ralph Ohm, Bob Dyreng, Tim Moore, Ute Staff members; Rita Crumpton, <br />Recording Secretary; and Mark Hermundstad, Ute's Counsel. Guests present: Steve <br />Ryken, and Ed Tolen, Ute Employees. <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> <br />There were none. <br /> <br />ACTION ITEMS <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />The Chairman noted that each Board member had received copies of the draft <br />minutes of the March meeting in the mail previous to this meeting. He then called for <br />additions, corrections or deletions. <br /> <br />Motion to approve the minutes as distributed made by James Burkhalter, second <br />by Dick Fletcher. <br /> <br />Mr. Jaynes referred to page 3, last paragraph. He asked what "designed by the <br />District" meant? The Recording Secretary indicated that that was verbatim from the tape. <br />The District Engineer, acting as Project Manager, explained that the suggestion was made <br />to follow the outline from the American Society of Civil Engineers for a dispute resolution <br />board. That was not acceptable to the District and the decision was made that Ute Water <br />would have major control in setting up the dispute resolution board. <br /> <br />There being no further questions, the Chairman called for a vote on the motion, <br />which carried. <br />
