The internally buffered fields will have a stratified <br />random sampling for each crop type and irrigation class. Approximately half of the sites will be <br />used as training samples for setting up the signatures for the classifier. The remaining sites <br />will be used for accuracy assessment. The training sample sites will be masked from the <br />Landsat imagery and used to set up the signatures to be used in the classification. <br /> <br />Work Product by Contractor: <br />Two sets of ground truth sites: training samples for classification and accuracy <br />assessment samples for testing classification accuracy. <br /> <br />Task 9 - Structure QC Plot Programming <br /> <br />The contractor will work with State personnel to design a check plot that clearly shows the <br />irrigation structure information transferred from the 1993 Irrigated Acreage coverage to the <br />2000 Irrigated Acreage coverage. An automated AML program, that runs in ARCPLOT, will be <br />developed to create a consistent looking check plot that shows the 2000 polygons shaded by <br />and annotated with irrigation structure ID number. <br /> <br />Work Product: <br />An AML, or series of AML routines, that will produce check plots showing <br />irrigation structure information as well as including the labeled headgate <br />structure locations. <br />Deliverable to State: <br />All AML's used to produce check plots in digital form. <br />A task memorandum describing the use of the AML's. <br /> <br />Task 10- Check Plots for Irrigation Structures <br /> <br />Quad sized check plots will be produced that clearly show the irrigation structure ID for each <br />polygon in the 2000 Irrigated Acreage coverage. The irrigation structure ID will be shown as <br />both polygon shading and attribution at the centroid of the polygons. <br /> <br />Deliverable to State: <br />Plots: Check plots will be delivered on a weekly basis for QC by DWR staff. <br /> <br />Task 11 - Revise Check Plots for Irrigation Structures ID <br /> <br />The contractor will use the information provided by the water commissioner's review of <br />irrigation structure ID's for each polygon and update the 2000 polygon/structure ID coverage. <br />Using redline corrections and annotations from the check plots, the 2000 polygon/structure ID <br />coverage will be updated with line work changes. <br /> <br />Deliverables to Contractor: <br />Marked up check plots from the Divisions Engineer's. <br /> <br />Page 17 <br />
