Bill Stanton was updating the Board concerning the SEV <br />Operational account status. As part of that, the fact that the Upper Black Squirrel study was to be deleted from <br />FY99 funding made more money available. Patty Wells suggested that some of it ($30K) go to the Jefferson <br />County study, since that study was already in progress and had a total price tag of about $450K. This made the <br />total $50K. Bill Stanton was given the task of updating the SEV matrix, which he did (Jefferson Co. is shown with <br />$50K for FY 1999). However, the formal motion to approve all this is vague as presented in the formal meeting <br />notes for March 1998. The notes have an error (they refer to FY98 instead of FY99) and they do not include any <br />dollar amounts. The tape of the meeting would be the only fall back in this case. <br /> <br />The best thing would be if Bill were to just update his memo 15a to refiect Board action taken. (This combined with the grant of <br />$20,000 approved by the Board at its November 1997 meeting for a total grant of $50,000.) I looked in the <br />January, March, May and July (1998) agendas. According to the minutes, the March meeting addressed <br />Jefferson County, but only to make all of its funds available in FY1998. <br />I need this information in order to finish the contract and to get the accounting codes set up. <br />If anyone has any information regarding this item, please let me know as soon as possible. <br />Thanks! <br /> <br />Page 1 <br />
