Januarv 28.1999 <br /> <br />Call to Order <br /> <br />8:10 a,m. <br />A regular meeting of the Colorado Water Conservation Board was <br />reconvened in the Ballroom of the Holiday Inn Northglenn, 10 East l20th <br />Avenue, Northglenn, CO, The meeting was called to order at 8:10 a,m, on <br />Thursday, January 28, 1999 by Chairperson Allen Davey, Eight voting <br />members were present at the time of call to order so there was a quorum (at <br />least six required). Board members present on this date were Patricia Wells, <br />Janice Sheftel, Eric Kuhn, Ray Werner, Bob Burr, Alan Hamel, Allen <br />Davey, Bill Brown, Greg Walcher" Felicity Hannay (representing the <br />Attorney General) (alternating with Ken Salazar, Attorney General), State <br />Engineer Hal Simpson and CWCB Acting Director Peter Evans,' <br /> <br />t,1'ill <br />YJ <br /> <br />16a. Construction Fund - Non-Reimbursable Construction Projects and Investigations- <br />South Platte River Decision Support Scoping Initiative <br />Tape 3, Start/Stop: 2861- 3197 <br />Action: A motion was made by Bill Brown to accept the staffrecommendation that <br />the Board include a recommendation in the 1999 Construction Fund and <br />Severance Tax Bill to appropriate $100,000 for conducting a South Platte <br />River Decision Support System scoping study, and that the Board work with <br />local water users an others to establish a Technical Advisory Committee to <br />consult on the development of the Scope of Work for the scoping study. <br />The motion was seconded by Janice Sheftel and approved unanimously (8- <br />0). <br /> <br />16b.
