<br />The term of the contract for the successful firm(s) will be from date of award through June 30,
<br />2000, This contract may be extended, if necessary, subject to funding, upon satisfactory
<br />performance by the Consultant, upon approval and adoption of the budget, and upon approval by
<br />the Board of County Commissioners,
<br />
<br />Any contract awarded between EI Paso County and the successful firm will consist of a
<br />Professional Services Contract (a copy of which is included in this RFP package) signed by both
<br />parties, this RFP and any addendum's, the submitted proposal, negotiations, the resulting
<br />PurChase Order and original certificates of insurance,
<br />
<br />M, RFP RESPONSE REQUIREMENTS.
<br />
<br />By submitting a proposal, you represent that you have (1) thoroughly examined and become
<br />familiar with the scope of services outlined in this RFP, and (2) are capable of performing quality
<br />work to achieve the County's and EPCWA's objectives, EI Paso County will not be responsible
<br />for any errors or omissions on the part of the Consultant in responding to this proposal. Illegible,
<br />incomplete or vague proposals may be rejected,
<br />
<br />The following information must accompany your proposal and be addressed in this order:

<br />1, Compliance with all items required on the Response Checklist (form included in this RFP
<br />package), The proposal shall contain all of the requested information and shall not be
<br />cluttered with preprinted marketing information, The proposal shall be bound and presented
<br />in a neat and orderly fashion,
<br />2, A statement of interest to perform the work, A statement to the effect that the proposal shall
<br />remain valid for a period of no less than ninety (90) days from the date of submittal.
<br />3, Description of your firm including size of firm, financial statements, office location from which
<br />the project team will work, number and nature of the professional staff to be assigned to the
<br />County ,
<br />4, Description of the Firm's qualifications, staff experience and training, including qualifications
<br />of all individuals who will provide services under this contract pnoposal. Identify the project
<br />leader and the project team to be assigned, and their specific qualifications/resumes,
<br />5, Proposed approach to this project. For each phase that the firm wishes to be considered,
<br />include a general outline of the team's approach and an estimated time frame to complete the
<br />task, Any sub-phases which the team would like to add to better define the work is to be
<br />indicated and justified,
<br />6, At least three (but not more than five) professional references (other than EI Paso County or
<br />EPCWA) for whom the firm has provided similar services, List the names, addresses and
<br />phone numbers, Describe the, services provided, and dates for each,
<br />7, Submit one (1) original and five (5) copies of the proposal, signed by the person authorized to
<br />bind the submitting Firm to the terms of the Request for Proposal and the proposal response,
<br />8, Submit in a separate envelope one (1) original and five (5) copies of Firm Fixed Price with a
<br />breakdown of the cost for the services to be performed under this RFP, to include any sub-
<br />phases, The degree of detail is left to the discretion of the Firm's team, but an outline of the
<br />plan, with a milestone schedule, milestone costs, and a total cost is required, Include all
<br />requested cost information and any additional fee schedules, List the Project Team's hourly
<br />rate and the firm's overhead multiplier (or rate). List separately and in detail, any other
<br />charges and cost that may apply, such as travel.
