<br />" <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Deliverables: <br /> <br />Task 33.2 Field Study Workplan <br /> <br />. The Consultant will develop a field study workplan of approximately 10-15 pages (with <br />additional pages for appendices) that will include the following sections: <br /> <br />Target areas for well construction and associated data collection <br /> <br />- Field protocols as defined in Task 33.1 <br /> <br />Budget and schedule for the program, including an itemized engineer's estimate of well <br />drilling and testing costs for each conceptual well design <br /> <br />. The Consultant will provide a draft Field Study Workplan for the State's review. The <br />Consultant will incorporate the State's comments and recommendations and provide a <br />Final Field Study Workplan. Six hard copies and one digital copy in MSWord and Adobe <br />Acrobat PDF format will be provided. <br /> <br />Task 35: Construction and Testing of Alluvial Wells <br /> <br />Objective: <br /> <br />The objective of this task is to construct and test 15 wells that will provide hydrogeologic data for <br />the alluvial ground water system in the Denver Basin and the Lower South Platte Regions. <br /> <br />Approach: <br /> <br />Task 35.1 Alluvial Well Construction and Testing in the Denver Basin and the Lower South <br />Platte Regions. <br /> <br />This Phase I program will include the installation, testing and monitoring of 15 wells completed <br />in unconsolidated alluvial deposits. This task will commence after the State provides written <br />approval the Field Study Workplan (Task 33). <br /> <br />. Locations for drilling of new wells are expected to be located on public rights-of-way and <br />accessible for the duration of the drilling and monitoring under agreements to be <br />negotiated by CDM with assistance from the State. Any access fees will be paid directly <br />by the State. Sites will be selected that do not require significant grading for road <br />construction or drilling. The State will be consulted if drilling cannot be done on public <br />right of ways. <br /> <br />. Approved site locations will be staked in the field and cleared for drilling by a commercial <br />utility locating service. <br /> <br />. The Consultant will apply for monitoring well permits, and will prepare a bid package <br />consisting of well design, technical specifications, and contract documents for well <br />drilling, sampling, logging, testing, and completion. <br /> <br />SPDSS Groundwater SOW, Phase I <br /> <br />Page 20 <br />
