P.E. <br />Director, CWCB <br /> <br />RE: Erie Flood Control Project <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Hahn <br /> <br />As you are aware, the contract between the Town and CWCB dated January 21, <br />1992, has a termination clause (par. A.6.). The State has reviewed your letter dated <br />February 24, 1994, and the minutes of the town's January 20, 1994 presentation to the Board <br />at its January 19-20, 1994 meeting. In consideration of the facts that the town has been <br />diligently working on project implementation over the past two years and the project is now <br />under construction, I can applaud the Town for their efforts, <br /> <br />You are also aware, we are in progress of drafting an amendment to the January 21, <br />1992 contract. In addition to providing an increase in the loan amount, there will be a <br />provision to extend the time for satisfactorily completion of the project. <br /> <br />I can endorse that recommendation for a time extension and I have no intention to <br />terminate our contract dated January 21, 1992, <br /> <br /> <br />DCL/LFL <br /> <br />crieaulr <br /> <br />ATTACHMENT H <br />
