Your request for five thousand dollars in planning funds
under the Small Dam Site Reconnaissance Program and for a feasibility study loan of seven thousand
five hundred dollars has been approved with the understanding that the funds are to be used for a
feasibility study of raw water system improvements which might be eligible for funding from the
CWCB Construction Fund.

We have also received a Plan of Study for the feasibility work dated September 8, 1994 from
WestWater Engineering, The Plan of Study is in conformance with the CWCB Construction Fund
Guidelines and is considered acceptable for the feasibility study.

We are in the process of drafting a purchase order with a letter of agreement for the five thousand
dollars and a feasibility study loan contract for the seven thousand five hundred dollars. Drafts of
these items will be sent to you in the next few Weeks. Please be advised that the loan contract will
require an ordinance adopted by the Town Board in the format provided in the enclosed draft,

Your request for funding for engineering design work under your existing authorization is currently
being considered. Our response will depend, at least in part, upon the results of the feasibility study.

Please let me know if you have any questions on any of these items.
