<br />WHEREAS, authority exists in the Law llnd Funds have been budgeted, appropriated and otherwise made
<br />aVllilablc and a sufficient unencumbered bahmcc thereof remains llvailable for payment in Fund Number 4008
<br />G/L Account Number 53l7X, Contract Encumbrance Number 153338 ; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, required approval, clcar.lOce and coordination has been accomplished from and with appropriate
<br />agencies; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the State and the Contractor did on November 15, 1980,
<br />enter into a contract for State participation in the SLIt water
<br />supply project for the benefit of the restdents of the Town of
<br />S.ilt, which contract is attached hereto as Exhibit nAil and Is
<br />hereby incorporated herein; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the part les agreeing that it is in the .interest of
<br />both parties to amend pardgraph A.2. of said contract as 1s
<br />indicated below; and
