<br />"- ,.,..~- <br />~~ <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS <br /> <br />Water-Sewer Board Meeting <br />January 7, 1988 <br /> <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />said design of the project would probably not be started until 1989~ with <br />construction possibly scheduled for 1990 or 1991. He said the staff could <br />proceed to develop the information requested by Mr. Ruyle, but he recommended <br />that the feasibility report on Barnes Meadow Dam be completed and presented to <br />the CWCB as soon as possible. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Richard Boettcher and seconde4 by David Clarkson to <br />direct the staff to complete the feasibility study and present it to the <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board. The motion was carried unanimously. <br /> <br />7. PROGRESS REPORT ON WATER COURT APPLICATIONS <br /> <br />Mr. Sohlender reported that the application for change of use of the City's <br />Greeley-Loveland Irrigation Company waters was filed with the Water Court on <br />Oecember 31st. He said that he and the City staff will be meeting with <br />various people who might file standard objections~ and explain the City's <br />plans to them in an effort to convince them that the City will in no way <br />injure downstream users. Mr. Bohlender said that the City of Greeley also <br />filed a statement of opposition to Water Court applications made by the City <br />of Loveland. He said that he and the City staff will work with the City of <br />Loveland to clarify this matter. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Robert Ruyle and seconded by Elmer Rothe to approve the <br />change of use and statement of opposition filings made in the Water Court. <br />The motion was carried unanimously. <br /> <br />******* <br /> <br />Mr. Rybus stated that 7.805 billion gallons of water were treated in 1987, <br />which was a new record and an increase of 6.77% over the 1986 total. 2.799 <br />billion gallons of wastewater were treated--this was an increase of 3.7% from <br />1986. There were 531 flat rate to meter conversions made in 1987~ which <br />brings the overall total to 2.608 accounts converted. <br /> <br />******* <br /> <br />There being no further items for discussion. the meeting was adjourned at <br />4:57 p.m. <br /> <br />~.
