The problem which aftected the initial design of the <br />dam was a small but very deep Pocket of clay along the proposed <br />center line of the dam. This n~cessitated redesign as detailed on <br />the attached letter from The Engineering Company. <br /> <br />I have enclosed Change Order NQrnber 2. for your approval and <br />signature. I apologize for pro~eeding ahead with the redesign <br />before,<you had a chance to rev:i.ew and approve it.
