PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS TO THE EXISTING SYSTEM

A. General

I

Based on the hydraulic analysis presented in Chapter VIII, field inspec-
tions of the existing system, and discussions with the district representatives;
a number of problems were identified.' The recommended improvements in this
chapter will resolve most of these problems and upgrade the system to provide
a more reliable water supply. Improvements to upgrade the existing system
are considered to be Phase I work. Phase II work will include improvements
required for expanded service as the district's population grows. Phase II
projections are discussed in Chapter X.
