<br />... <br /> <br />~ <br />~'<.\ii' <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />Task 2 - Collect and Review Data <br />The first activity of the r~KE project team shall be to make a search for and <br />complete a list of all available data on the Barnes ~~eadow Reservoir Dam. A <br />thorough review shall be made of that data including examination of <br />construction drawings and records, maintenance records, special investigation <br />reports, and other existing data on file in the City's and the State <br />Engineer's records. This infonnation shall be supplemented with broader <br />regional infonnation such as geological mapping, streamflow records, National <br />Atmospheric and Oceanic Administration (NOAA) publ ications, and other <br />published material. <br /> <br />Thi s task shall include site visits by the technical personnel assigned to <br />work on this Contract. An expanded checklist, similar in nature to that used <br />in Phase I inspection investigations by the State Engineer, shall be employed <br />to assure the comprehensiveness of the site inspection. Survey confinnation <br />measurements and a photographic record shall al so be an important part of <br />these inspections. <br /> <br />The activities of this task shall be carried out as early as possible after <br />receiving notice to proceed. <br /> <br />Task 3 - CHAPTER I, General Information <br />General infonnation regarding the project shall be gathered by the 14KE project <br />team, from available records on file at the City, State Engineer's Office and <br />at any other location. From this infonnation, a project map shall be <br />prepared. The project map shall be a topographic map that illustrates the <br />proposed project and shoWS'the location of the existing and proposed project <br />features with respect to source of water supply, counties, and nearest cities <br />and towns, including Greeley. In addition, climatic infonnation shall be <br />gathered and presented as part of this task to include average monthly <br />temperatures, maximum and mi nimum temperatures of record, length of frost-free <br />periods, average monthly precipitation, and infonnation regarding wind, hail, <br />or any other damagi ng cl imatol ogi cal factors representati ve of the project <br />area and Greeley. The General Infonnation shall include reports by any <br />interested agencies such as the U.S. Forest Service or Hater Conservation <br />Districts regarding the dam. <br /> <br />- 2 - <br />
