designed. bid and pursuant to the terms of this Contract. constructed by L'1e
SWSP Enterprise. which project shall Include the Carter Lake Outlet Works
~odifIcatJon and the right to receive water dellvertes from the Carter Lake Dam
:-Jo. 1 Outlet Works and the St. Vraln Supply Canal to the pipeline Segments
from the Carter Lake Outlet Works ~odJflcatJon to Broomfleld. Colorado all as
generally described on Exhibit 1 attached hereto and Incorporated herein by
this reference. The Pipeline is specifically described In the DraWings and
SpecifIcatJons entJtled ~odificatJons to the St. Vrain Supply Canal and Carter
Lake Outlet Works Project prepared by ~ontgomery Watson. dated September
1993. and the DraWings and Spec!J1catJons entJtled Carter Lake to Broomfield
PIpeline PrOject prepared by ~ontgomery Watson. dated August 1993. Includ..1r:g
all change orders thereto processed pursuant to the constructJon contracts.

of the ?1pellne. The District has an exclusive and perpetual right to operate and
maJntaJ.n the Carter Lake Dam No. 1 Outlet Works and the St. Vraln Supply
Canal. which includes dellvenng water. subject and pursuant to the July 5.
1938 Repayment Cona-act. as amended. between the Unlted States and the
District fDr the constructJon of the Colorado-Big Thompson Project and the U.S.
Bureau of ReclamatJon Special Use Permit. Contract No. 2-LM-60-L2308.
