Determine Water Availability - Water to fill enlarged reservoir

will come through existing ditches. Water supply study must

analyze existing water rights, ditch capacities, and average

runoff from presently ungaged streams. Statistical correlations

will be required. A map of watershed areas and a line diagram of

stream and ditch systems will be included. This task will be

coordinated with similar task in the San Miguel Project Study.

8.

Develop Plan of Operations for Enlarged Reservoir - Planned

delivery schedules will be dependent on working agreements

developed by ditch companies. Report will show monthly

reservoir operation for a series of years in conjunction with

other existing facilities.

10. Perform Geologic Investigations - Since the project involves

raising an existing dam, it is imperative that sufficient

information be obtained to provide tentative approval of

proposed construction methods from State Engineer's office.

Proposed field work will include drilling three core holes into

bedrock, three auger holes, and six test pits and a geologic map

and report relating to the suitability of the existing dam as a

foundation for the enlargement will be included in this task.

Refer to Appendix 1 for details of proposed exploration.
