'\ <br />! <br /> <br />, <br />estimate prOfile at the time the work was stop;ped in 1911, the <br /> <br /> <br />engineer tells me that this point of cleavage was located where <br /> <br />the seepage was appears at the center of the dam, but that the <br /> <br />Une of cleavage is considerably higher than where. the seepage occurs <br /> <br />at the end end of the dam. .Again, there is no apparent settlement <br />on the crest of the dem or the side slopes immediately above some <br />of the worst spots ot seepage along the lower face, while the <br />worst settlement, which amounts to about four feet near the outlet <br />of the daln, is some distance west of the nearest seepage spots. <br />The'r'6 appears to be no seepage under the dam, but through the dam <br />at a point from 10 to 12 .fee.t . to ab.out 215. fee'l;. above the. toundation. <br />At two or three point.s in the dam the riprap has bulged <br />considerably showing a sliding cr moving action. This however is <br />not serious and is not in a dangerous condition. Extensive cracks <br />of four to' six inches wide running parallel with the dsm occur <br /> <br />along both shoulders of the crest showing that the material on <br /> <br />I both i11ppes has settled aYlay'from the center.
